Little Sandwich Shop in Hyannis

The worst service I've ever experienced. Every single time I go in to place an order I either wait 5 minutes to be acknowledged or I wait for my order while 6 people who ordered after me walk out with theirs. So I decided to give calling ahead a try. DIDN'T WORK! Ordered 5 minutes ahead of time and ended waiting an additional 15 minutes for my order while others after me walked in and out. I'M DONE WITH THIS PLACE!!

No wonder why so many bad reviews for this place. The customer service is by far the worst. I live 8 min away from this location and about 30 min after placing my order I was called and told that it's too far to deliver. The manager/owner was yelling in the background saying I was lying about the distance. Google maps dont lie. I would have been fine with a call right after making my order but instead I was told about it after much time had already passed. I've been working and living in the area for over 10 yrs I've eaten there many times. I can promise they won't be getting any more of my business.

I recently moved to the area, this is my third time shopping at the establishment and the service does not welcome you. Today is the second time that the cashier does not seem to like her work because her service is lousy and not friendly. From now on I have to see who attends the collection box because I do not want to be rude with the type of employee that she is. Very good food and a good selection to eat

Hands down the best spot in the area to get a sandwich. Not only will you get great food you will get great customer service something hardly seen nowadays. Sandy is amazing and she's a pleasure to see every single time you visit!

If only they made good sandwiches. Dry sliced breads, spongy and chewy “baguette”, uninspired sandwiches at premium prices. Better sandwiches for much less at Dixon Deli.

Great spot for deli sandwiches & paninis! The food is delicious and well priced, especially for downtown JC. Watch out for the $10 credit card minimum!

I love the little sandwich shop. Their staff is so nice. The food is consistent, you get the same quality every time, and it’s not too expensive. Their breakfast burrito is awesome.

Order everyday. Each person I’ve spoken to has been awesome - until today. Ironically the owner (I know his voice due to the automated message where he disclaims a security breach with card payments) answers the phone and during the entire conversation seemed disgusted to be taking the order. Listen, I get it. We have bad days. But your customers (especially repeat) should be your highest priority. If you’re too good for your customer or have better things to do than taking an order, fine. But I won’t be ordering from you again. So you’re welcome. One less order to be exhausted over.

Little Sandwich Shop has my favorite Buffalo Chicken Wrap in downtown Jersey City. Everything is made to order so expect to wait a bit, but its always delicious. The food seems slightly over priced for the portions but I keep coming back anyway. A couple of problems I have are that they add a fee for using a credit card if you don't meat their 10 dollar minimum (come on its 2015, everybody uses cards) and they nickle and dime you for any veggie additions to the wrap. It also bugs me that they never seem to be open on Sundays. Thats the perfect day for when I'm walking downtown and looking to grab a wrap. I've been a loyal customer for a couple of years and its more good than bad. Give it a shot!

Good for a quick deli meat sandwich. Prices are good (single digits) and sandwiches are well stacked (none of that front loading nonesense).

This is the 2nd time I order from this place I'm on the bus 20 minutes away I still get there and my foot's not ready the service here sucks the food is delicious But the service sucks

They forgot something from my order, can't call them it goes right to voicemail. It is always a problem with them. I'm going to have to find a new place for my $60 to $80 daily order.

The lady (most likely the owner) who works there is very rude. And like other negative review written, I also experienced that people who came after me got food earlier than me. That too what they ordered and what I ordered were no different. very mysterious. Everytime I visited there, I experienced the same so I stopped going there.

Love the chicken pesto

I usually order honey turkey hero with a bag of chips. The hero is delicious!! The honey turkey actually taste like "honey turkey" . I say that because most corner stores honey turkey in Jersey city taste like regular turkey . So this is my spot for hero's now . Heros remind me of New York.

This has become one of my goto spots in downtown JC when I'm looking for a quick sandwich. My wife with celiac disease (celiac Annie) is able to get any sandwich on the menu with gluten free bread. They are quick and reasonably priced. I've had a couple delivery orders over 2 years show up with something incorrect but they are quick to fix it. Highly recommend getting something from the signature sandwich menu! I love the #2 stock exchange shown in one of my pics below.

Wonderful little shop. A great breakfast and lunch spot. Staff is very friendly and always courteous.

Food is just OK. For the quality, price of breakfast is too high with somewhat arrogant and uncaring customer service. Lady at cash register is a hustler looking to charge for every little thing.

Philly cheese steak is good

The dishes seem to be getting smaller and smaller. Also, the people who work there are less and less friendly for no apparent reason at all. Think I’ll stop going. I don’t need attitude in a neighborhood place.

This place is great. I work in Jersey City often and our office orders lunch there all the time. The sandwiches are great and we love the fresh squeezed orange juice. 2 thumbs up!

I've seen this place on delivery sites for a while now but finally yesterday I decided to stop in and get a sandwich. The place itself is a bit dinky and meh on the inside. There are quite a few sandwich options available here which is nice. I got the basil chicken sandwich which was really good and I'd get it again. I do wish they made their own mozzarella, not many places around here do that though. All their lunch meat and cheeses are Boars Head I believe if that makes any difference.

I walk by this spot all the time but had never gone in until this week! I've been missing out. I didn't think a deli would have many/any options for a vegetarian, but I'm super happy to be proved wrong.

I love their chicken salad sandwich. It is the best and no place beats it. Very busy, little place.

Get the grilled chicken wrap with mozzarella cheese, sautéed onions and balsamic spread. It's insanely good. They're nice people. I love getting food from here! UPDATE: The owner who is making the cold sandwiches does NOT WEAR GLOVES while making sandwiches.

Was a regular customer here, but not anymore. Rude staff especially the indian lady with the short haircut. Was charged for a crossiant when they didnt have any. Asked for a refund and was given it reluctantly. I also asked why my refund was less than what the menu shows and got even more attitude. Im voting with my wallet and wont return. I have a strong feeling she doesnt really like people of color. And i say this just by the way she interacts with us. Ive seen this from her on more than one occasion.
